Den danske komponist og saxofonist Michael Bladt har skabt en lang række inspirerende jazzværker på sine tre udgivelser i eget navn. Senest albummet ”Next Step”, som udkom i 2015. Kompositionerne inviterer lytteren med ind i Michael Bladts melodiøse og virtuose jazzverden, hvor inspirationskilderne er en kombination af den nordiske og amerikanske jazz.
Michael Bladt har været ansat i Aarhus Jazz Orchestra over 22 år, og han henter sin inspiration fra adskillige genrer, hvilket afspejles i de forskellige navne, han har spillet med som Radioens Big Band, John Scofield og Lukas Graham.
”Next Step” præsenteres til Aarhus Jazz festival med følgende stærke line-up:

The Danish composer and saxophonist Michael Bladt has gathered a strong team and presents his inspiring jazz works created on his three publications in his own name.
The Danish composer and saxophonist Michael Bladt has created a large number of inspirational jazz works on his three publications in his own name. Most recently the album “Next Step”, which appeared in 2015. The compositions invite the listener into Michael Bladt’s melodious and virtuoso jazz world, where the sources of inspiration are a combination of Nordic and American jazz.
Michael Bladt has been employed at Aarhus Jazz Orchestra for 22 years, his inspiration derives from several genres, which is reflected in the different names he has played with, such as Denmark Radio’s Big Band, John Scofield and Luke Graham.
“Next Step” is presented to Aarhus Jazz festival with the following strong line-up:
